Well that was a waste of 45 minutes of my life... 1-1 at the end, very little to reportChrisC wrote:Not reallybean wrote:Is it a good game? If not i'll watch the rugby...they both look as bad/worse than us
Re: Tonight's Football
Really poor quality. That Zako is good though. Kazim-Richards wants chinning as well.

Zako is decent but horrible to watch.. He looks so uncomfortable when he runs with the ball.Prufrock wrote:Really poor quality. That Zako is good though. Kazim-Richards wants chinning as well.

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Kompany off....
Re: Tonight's Football
noted expert and sage commentator Martin Keown says:Annoyed Grunt wrote:Kompany off....
did he go in with one foot and the other not far behind then, martin?"He went in with one foot but the other is not far behind. I can see why Mike Dean has sent him off. For me, it is the way that Vincent Kompany tackles. Watching it live, I thought he was in trouble, but watching the replay he did go in with one foot with the other not far behind."

Kind of understand what he means.....don't think it was a red myself.
Re: Tonight's Football
Geordie mate quick to remind me that Dean is the referee who did not send David Luiz off for his obvious last man foul at SJP last year.
Same week Cahill was sent off on the half way line

Really surprised at that. Looks like City have joined the big boys with their different rules. Also, although I wouldn't have given a red, I don't think it should have been overturned.

Re: Tonight's Football
But don't get me wrong, although I am cynical about why it was overturned, I'm glad it was - not least because I've got Kompany in my fantasy football team and i've got bugger all transfers left...Lost Leopard Spot wrote:Robbie Savage rules.
