doubt it counts as a holiday but a few mates and myself are going to london for the england vs scotland game in august. im only counting as a holiday coz it gets me away from the jeremy kyle holding pen for a few days. and there's fruit.

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

I'll be there in March, ST - I gather the snorkeling is pretty good there and the day trip to Tulum well worth it. Alas, I'm only there for a day on the cruise ship.

Cheers Monty, I believe it's a favourite destination of the cruise liners. We have snorkelling very much on our 'things to do' list and i'll look out for Tulum too.

Good God. I went when I was 20. I'll never step foot in that God-forsaken shit-hole ever again. They won't know what's hit them? Good luck with that! 8)

Watching Africa has caused us to again consider our long desire to go to Namibia. Mrs G has been pricing it up today. No change from £5k

Younger Bro' and his Mrs take their two to the one near Penrith every year. I usually nip up and spend a day with them, it's absolutely brilliant. Very expensive though so go in term time if you can, when it's a lot less.

Never done Benidorm but two weeks in Zante was enough to persuade me that lads' holidays filled with unending drinking aren't my cup of tea!

Should be good. You'll only be in competition with about three hundred or so groups of Brit girls doing the same thing, matching T-shirts and all.

My lad's off to Magaluf in July, just on his 17th birthday, with 14 mates. I'm crapping it and desperately trying not to watch Magaluf Uncovered or whatever its called on Channel 4 at the moment.

He'll be OK. Won't be drinking will he ? As he's too young.
