You've mentioned this Nantwich totty before, but unfortunately I'm fully booked up for Easter.
That's not a leopard!

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

I've just been to see a promenade play in the local Botanical Gardens that was an allegory of the seven stages of Sufi mysticism. Boy was I glad when we got to the glasshouses. Brrrrrrrrr...
All in all it was very good despite a couple of howlers from the keeper and another indifferent performance by Zat Knight.

Re: Where are you going tonight?
The start's a bit kind of WTF? But stick with it and it all drops into place. Am really looking forward to The Glass Menagerie, ST. Margot Lester's in it. Don't know if you've seen her in any of her other stuff at The Octagon, but if not then you must. I honestly implore you.Salford Trotter wrote:Good stuff BruceBruce Rioja wrote:I thoroughly enjoyed it, ST.Salford Trotter wrote:Just booked tickets to see Tull at The Octagon for next Friday

Margot Leicester will be just stunning in that role. I'm so looking forward to seeing her in it.Bruce Rioja wrote:The start's a bit kind of WTF? But stick with it and it all drops into place. Re: Where are you going tonight?
Had a top night Friday at the Blacksmith and Toffeemaker in Farringdon. It was almost a wanker hipster kind of place, but just about OK on that front, with appalling music that I loved when I was a wannabe gangsta teenager in Adlington. I had a great time embarrassing the girlf with my appalling singing.
Most importantly though, the beer was top. I've semi-ranted before about how it's all weird and wonderful (and crucially, shit) odd-ball beers down here, so even if you find one you like, you'll never find it anywhere else again, but Friday was a choice between Director's, Green King IPA, and my fav of all beers, Wainwright. I was in heaven!

In a world that has decided
That it's going to lose its mind
Be more kind, my friends, try to be more kind.

I can pretty much guarantee that those words have never, ever appeared together in the same sentence before.Prufrock wrote:Had a top night Friday at the Blacksmith and Toffeemaker in Farringdon. Re: Where are you going tonight?
Back from a trip to Copenhagen. Was bloody lovely!
Didn't go to see the mermaid in the end. Mainly because there was lots of other fun stuff to do and didn't want to see a slightly underwhelming statue that was miles away.
Definitely recommended for beer lovers and art lovers. In fact, a trip to the art thread is needed, me thinks!
