Where are you going tonight?

If you have a life outside of BWFC, then this is the place to tell us all about your toilet habits, and those bizarre fetishes.......

Didn't go to see the mermaid in the end. Mainly because there was lots of other fun stuff to do and didn't want to see a slightly underwhelming statue that was miles away.

Definitely recommended for beer lovers and art lovers. In fact, a trip to the art thread is needed, me thinks!

Glad you enjoyed it. Did you manage to squeeze a visit in to the Nørrebro Bryghus?

Alas no, Bruce. Quite embarrassing, really - I'd told my friends about this place I'd been recommended for a brewery tour. We got to Copenhagen on Friday and only then did it occur to me that a) I hadn't written down what it was called and b) hadn't the foggiest where it was. Several 'ffs, mrkint's were utterred. Apologies, I'll definitely be going back there again. And this time I will remember :D

Ended up doing the Carlsberg brewery tour instead. Wasn't expecting much but to be honest it was quite interesting. It also has the most ornate entrance to a brewery, possibly anywhere

:D marvellous stuff. Certainly would be a great addition to the Horwich Parkway landscape.

Additionally, I went to Malmo for the day yesterday. What a lovely little city. Plenty to see, do and eat, and all easily doable in a day.

Also, they had a SCIENCE MUSEUM! YES! the best kind. There were loads of experiments around you could interact with. One of them involved putting a wave-measurer on your forehead, sitting on one side of the table. The other side had another person doing similar. On the table was a ball, that moved according to the waves picked up by the measurer - you could move the ball with your mind! :O though this was a reverse one though, as the calmer the waves the more it moved to the other side.

It was slightly embarrasing however as when trying to 'move' the ball, I put my left hand out and opened it towards the ball, as if i was trying to move it telekinetically. I literally thought I was an X-Man.

Did you get to try wort on your brewery tour? I tried it at the heineken tour in Amsterdam, I'm almost heaving at the thought of the stuff, absolutely rank.

I didn't, beefy, but that sounds horrific at the thought!

At the end of the tour though, they have several 'infused' beers that you could smell. Vanilla, chocolate...all the usual suspects. Then you had thinks like charcoal. And sulphur :/

I saw Tull at the Octagon this afternoon. The script was less than great but the acting was excellent, the production fluid. An enjoyable event.

Fish and chips at the Olympus after ended the day nicely.

Not tonight but tomorrow I'm off to see the Frantic Four (aka Quo's original line up)

Standing room only at the Hammy O as I Double Denim up for a session of heads down, no nonsense boogie.

I thoroughly enjoyed it, ST.
I haven't been to the Octagon in over 20 years and I forgot just how tiny it was and how close you get to the action. I thoroughly enjoyed it as you did Bruce

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.
