Amazingly ... he isn't !!

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Mental cats, yesterday my cat came home covered in blood literally there was not an inch on him that was not covered in blood, at first I thought he had got in a fight with a fox but on closer inspection soon realised he was not covered in his own blood but the blood of another animal, keeping in mind that my cat is the biggest cat I have ever seen (he is a farm cat that is literally twice the size of your average cat, in fact he is the size of an average dog) whatever he had attacked and eaten must of been big and I mean very big, there was to much blood on him for it to be a bird or even another cat and it took 15 minutes to wash off (which is a long time considering he is a short haired cat) any ideas I mean he is regularly attacking dogs and we constantly get complaints from fellow dog and cat owners, I am wondering could he of killed a fox or a deer ? anyone got any suggestions ?

He is a year and a halve old if that helps.

Where I live bear is the most logical answer, but I don't think you have any wild bears left so it's probably a deer.

Surely a bear would obliterate any cat though, as I say my cat was not hurt at all. not a single cut on him just something else's blod. I think dear is likely.

You should check the moon cycle. That might explain this attack, especially if it's a full moon.

Your cat was obviously taking part in a Satanic ritual whereby some virgin Sheila is sacrificed on an upside down altar by having her heart ripped out. Your cat got too close to the action, that's all.
That's not a leopard!

Someone has a sense of humour, TANGO. I looked him up - the Goat Racing Syndicate is his owner. He's had some pretty ordinary runs but did win one back in November of last year. So you never know!

Seems we have a mouse problem in the office.

It isn't too bad, but you'd think by the way the girls in the office are screaming that it was a psychotic killer.

Two of them have refused to come back to their desks

The mice have desks? Do you work in a lab?

Yeah, the mice trade union is pretty militant in that respect.

I'm not surprised they're refusing to work though, if there's a bunch of screaming women in the office.

Knackered. Should have left Faro at 8pm last night but the flight was delayed until 11pm. Unfortunately Blackpool airport shuts at midnight so we were routed to Leeds Bradford. We landed at 2 am and took 2 hours 20 minutes by coach to reach Blackppol. Bed for 5.15 am, alarm went off at 7.30. Now in work and not a happy bunny!

One of the most amazing sights I ever saw was four blokes gathered around a drill stand that somebody had seen a mouse scuttle under in a workshop. One great seventeen stone bloke lit a rag and pushed it under the stand, then stood there with a shovel waiting. His comment,
"It'll be out in a minute, I can hear it coughing". I kid you not.

2 % annual pay award. Is that about the norm just now?

that's about the norm for the private sector - many were predicting 2.5% for 2013
