I find him hard to understand but I think he said: "Back then my children were younger than they are now." Really?

I think Coyle will do alright in the future. He made a lot of mistakes for us but it wasn't all bad either, and he's been successful at other clubs too, so I'm sure he'll bounce back. He just needs to learn from his mistakes, change a few of his ideas about management and then hopefully he'll be a better manager in the long term. Unlike most Bolton fans, I don't have any anger or resentment towards him. He took the club backwards but I can separate my thoughts of him as a manager to my thoughts of him as a person. I still think he's a nice guy and his heart was in the right place with Bolton, so I wish him the best.

I wish he had done a better job with us because I would have liked him to be our manager long term. It's rare that you get a manager who loves the club so much, though it's a shame he just wasn't able to turn things around when we were struggling.

Was on radio 5 the other day. Kept interrupting Michael Owen and getting overruled by Steve Clarridge from what I heard. He must be getting desperate.

The more I hear him the more I realise how he's just not very intelligent.

He hasn't got anything above cliches.

I thought the question 'so none of it was your fault then?' in that interview sums him up. Completely deluded as to what a manager should be doing. But then that is what happens when you're not very bright I guess.

What a bizarre comment to make. So has anybody who has ever played professional football or managed at professional level.

I don't think that really has any bearing whatsoever.

He needs rid of the yes men.

His main problem is his inability to learn from his mistakes. If this break from football resolves that, he may come back better.

Not bizarre at all your constant sniping is bizarre, the fact is you portray your self as an expert and despite him being a cancer dimwit or what other stuff you say he has made his money from it, you haven't.

So what you're saying is that nobody should criticise someone in any field if they are less successful than them in said field?

Cos that would be fine only, I'd say the vast majority of posts on here would be redundant.

I wasn't insulting his mentality. Just saying that despite the articulate talk and the way he presents himself, I don't think he's all that bright.

He won't be the only one in football in that position like.

But others might not be as stubborn with it!

Edit: though I'm very happy to insult his mentality if you like, there is plenty of ammunition there. Or I could let Bobo do that job.....

Oh really? I guess saying nasty things about a manager is wrong. Glad you've cleared that up. I'm sure you've never done that repeatedly. Quite sure.

Coyle fooked this club more than any manager since our rise from division four. It wasn't all his fault, plenty turned a blind eye to his particular brand of stubborn incompetence. But feck it he did.

I don't care one way or another what he does now. I will always hold him responsible for his negligence whilst he was here.

Will have to disagree with you on that He was worse than Megon but not Lee, personally I thought Coyle was alright but am much happier with DF. DF is a legend in my book the way he has turned it round.
The above post is complete bollox/garbage/nonsense, please point this out to me at any and every occasion possible.
