There ARE other teams(we'd have no-one to play otherwise) and here's where all-comers can discuss the wider world of football......

Hmm. Arsenal have Man U at home (who will already be champions, I suspect), QPR away (already down, and abysmal), Wigan at home (a few days after the biggest game in their history) and Newcastle away (who could be fighting for their lives).

Tottenham have Wigan away (they need points NOW, before the distraction of the final), Southampton at home (who are probably safe), Chelsea away (they will be fighting hard for that CL place), Stoke away (who will probably be fighting for their lives), and Sunderland at home (who may be fighting for their lives).

Looks like Arsenal have the better run-in to me.
It goes against everything I normally wish for but I actually want Man Utd to win tonight and become champions so the pressure is off at the weekend.

It's inevitable. You may as well hope it happens in a time frame that is convenient for you.

Exactly. Though am going to be keeping well away from pictures showing a smug RVP kissing the premiership trophy. :vomit:

He's angling for a date - and he's hedged a win-win, the sly fox. I'm impressed with his work,tell him. ;)

Scored one of the goals of the season also. Amazing strike.

Ball played over the top from midfield and he hit it first time on the volley from the edge of the box.

Not when your ex best player has scored it for one of your most hated teams to win the title for them you don't!

Why are men always so cynical about other men's intentions?! It's like you want to think the worst of each other!

I won't deny it. I'm fickle. But he deserves the hatred. It's not so much the wanting to leave us, it's how he did it and who he left us for that gets my hackles up.

I must say, seeing the way that Van Persie's celebrating this, like he was born on fecking Seymour Grove, he's oozing all the patheticness of 'Wearside's' Paulo Di Canio.

Perhaps i didnt phrase that well. I can understand him wanting to win trophies which he felt, perhaps rightly, that Arsenal were unlikely to do, but he was our captain, he kept banging on about how much pride he had in the role, for many, many seasons he suffered injury after injury and failed to meet his true potential. Arsenal stood by him, paid his massive wages year on year as he sat on the injury table, wenger kept faith in him and then he has one really good season and buggers off to a team that most gooners hate only 2nd to spurs. It just felt a slap in the face is all. Some players, such as Henry will always be welcome back at Arsenal despite leaving but some - adebayor, Nasri, Cole, RVP never will be because of how they left. Sour grapes perhaps from us fans? Yes. Probably is.
