Diving Arsenal Players - The Least Shocking Admission Ever

There ARE other teams(we'd have no-one to play otherwise) and here's where all-comers can discuss the wider world of football......

Now I know that's not true as I have been to many games at The Emirates where I have had to sit with the Bolton fans. And I can tell you for free that away fans being loud was a myth. Gooners made far more noise. ;)
only for very tiny short bursts when they score a goal... and not really, considering there are supposed to be 50-60,000 of them in there... they make more noise braying in the club tat-shop....
Well I guess, given how many goals we have scored against you (back when you were premier league) it sounded like a never ending wall of noise hun ;) :P
 wall of noise!!! I'm still getting: "library where someone occasionally coughs and the librarian is mildly startled."

a very quiet stadium... guess the players' name games... arsenal fans arriving late from the club shop and from half-time drinkies... huge fatties with "Theo Walcott" written on their shirts.... and very good company!

Hmmm, I'll let you off those cheeky comments given the last one (unless you just mean bobo, Bruce and GtE...) And you're right, the players name thing is cringeworthy...

they'd stop it if nobody joined in... but - thing is - you have quite a large percentage of tourist fans who are there for the very first (and possibly last) time... so they love to shout out the names so they can prove to their neighbours that they really are proper fans, honest...

we don't have any of them! (for obvious reasons) - we're not a tourist club like you are...

Ok, i'm bored of the close season already. The twins are in their Arsenal shirts today to celebrate St Totteringhams day but really I just want August to hurry up and arrive now. I'm excited about next season as a gooner. Now, I know you will all laugh and wonder why, you've already written off our champions league chances and clearly think we haven't a hope which is fine by me, happy for us to be seen as underdogs, got used to that in George Grahams day, but I'm going with reasons to be cheerful.

1. Thanks to Steve Bould (who I said would be an important signing for us 8)) we had the second best defence in the premier league last season, even with a fairly average keeper.

2. And finished 4th despite having no real 25 goals a season type player. We have shed loads of cash - can see Wenger buying someone really good upfront (honestly, I can!)

3. We have no real top players to lose this season - we've already sold them all... I think other then getting rid of some dead wood the squad should be fairly settled.

4. Alex Ferguson has left United, chances are Bale will leave Spurs and Chelsea and Man Cty have hardly set the world alight any more then we have. I don't think Man Utd will run away with the league next season.

Having said all that, I still think chances are we won't win the premiership, but I am pretty optimistic about a cup...

Cup final ?
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.
