Football Trivia
With the boredom of having no 'proper' footy to watch, I though it would be a good idea to start a footy trivia thread to aleviate the monotony of the summer. I'll start with a couple of oldies -
1. Which player, to have played in the final game at Burnden, was the last to have played in a competetive match for us?
2. There are 13 teams in the top 4 divisions in England with TON in their name. Can you name them without google!
Hoping others post trivia questions here too!!!!

Dunno about one, because I'm far too young and that.
As for two... answers in white below

Re: Football Trivia
Plus four more...
Aston Villa, Burton albion, Charlton, Leyton Orient,
making ten. I'm going to have to give up on the other three

Re: Football Trivia
Here's one for the oldies. (But there's no point doing it if you're just going to google)
What was the name of the dog that found the stolen Jules Rimet World Cup in 1966?

Here's one: How many pundits have to say that 'Michael Carrick is underrated' before it's no longer the case?

The same amount as it took for Dennis Irwin. Who as a result, became somewhat overratedBeefheart wrote:Here's one: How many pundits have to say that 'Michael Carrick is underrated' before it's no longer the case?
