It's a scandal. All footage has been deleted to stop us from unearthing the truth #conspiracy

There's no conspiracy. It went in as clean as a whistle. Great finish

I didn't really care at the time whether it was deflected, and the passing of the years hasn't increased my interest. I'm just grateful the bugger went in, launching Allardyce into the big league. Whatever happened to the bloke in charge of the oppoes?

Definitely didn't take a deflection. Just bobbled in as I remember.

Wouldn't that put you in with the Preston fans? Or behind as in behind Gazza Fazza?

Behind as in behind Gazza - under the balcony trying to decide if it was better trying to see what was happening on the pitch or watch the TV monitors. Great day but cr*p view (but I definitely saw the deflection!!

That put's you quite a distance from the action, can you really say for certain from that far that the ball took a deflection? Did you use instant grits or real grits?

I was just making a reference to the film 'My Cousin Vinny' where Joe Pesci attempts to discredit a witness.

The witness reckoned it took 5 minutes to cook grits, as that was the time he observed, but good ol' Joe pointed out that it took 20 minutes to make genuine Deep Southern grits which means are you sure there was no deflection? I agree with you, but then I don't like grits. 8)

I've got it on video (I think, will have to shuffle through the coffin). We can settle this once and for all, though it will be in a couple of weeks as I keep it in my m&d's loft.

Internet fiver says deflection.
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

I'll bet an internet portion of grits that it took a deflection.
My wife says I always think I'm right - she hasn't realised yet (after 38 years) that I am always right - even if the facts have to change to make it happen

I'm sitting on the fence. It might have. It might not. Does it matter, it went in. :?
