We do actually get (a) match of the day over here on Sportsnet - I'm not sure it is the Match of the Day. I am not even sure who the commentators are half the time - and Sportsnet cuts to local commentators at half-time. However, I have seen him on tv and read his predictions (if one could call then that) for many years.Bruce Rioja wrote:Do you get MotD over there, Monty? Just to get the blood boiling or to have a laughI would have thought Bish. "Lawro's predictions" can have a strange affect on a man.

Re: Today I'm happy about......
Sure - we are starved for news sources about footie over here so I tend to devour the BBC website. Even Lawro's predictions. I also enjoy him losing to celebrities who essential know little of the game - which happens half the time. Yes, I may be a little mad.thebish wrote:you have read Lawrenson's predictions??? for many years???? are you mad???Montreal Wanderer wrote:We do actually get (a) match of the day over here on Sportsnet - I'm not sure it is the Match of the Day. Re: Today I'm happy about......
Lawro is fine! I love his shit jokes. At least he's enjoying himself. F*ck knows what Shearer is going to do once Hansen goes and he can't just say what he said, again. Michael f*cking Owen? Christ.

He's not ideal, but I maintain he's comfortably the second least shit (after Hansen who is pretty good as they go).

I agree pretty much.Prufrock wrote:He's not ideal, but I maintain he's comfortably the second least shit (after Hansen who is pretty good as they go).
Hansen, Lineker, Lawro, Neville (when just sitting down) in that order... fine pundits, that is until Hansen and Lawro do a trip down scouser lane and they lose all proportion.
The worst of the worst are Hoddle, followed by Shearer, Owen, Carragher, and Neville on his magic board.

^ as I've said before re. lawrenson - he doesn't irritate me as much as he appears to irritate others - and, better the devil you know!

Ah yes, Andy Douchebag Gray. I had forgotten about him. Isn't he dead, or carted off by aliens, or in prison, awaiting sentencing for being a mate of Jimmy Saville, or something. I cannot remember, but something definitely befell him of terminal punditorial fate, did it not?Bruce Rioja wrote:How soon we've forgotten the absolute plebsicle and stater of nothing other than the bleeding fecking obvious, Andy Gray.Lost Leopard Spot wrote:I agree pretty much.Prufrock wrote:He's not ideal, but I maintain he's comfortably the second least shit (after Hansen who is pretty good as they go).

We've had a decorator in over the past few months, doing the house up a couple of rooms at a time. The main rooms are pretty much done now. I'm so pleased with it! Got some before and after pictures, the difference a bit of white gloss makes....
