Perhaps look for some cb/lb cover on loan? I'm still convinced Mills will be gone before the windows out.plymouth wanderer wrote:Think that's gonna be our lot (hoping for Dawson) Eddie's backed Dougie all the way IMO

Just came back from a meeting to find this.
Great stuff.
Get it over the line then get a centre back (a loan seems most likely).

Whereas I'll jump through hoops if it'll land us Dawson, I still think we need another one there as well.BWFC_Insane wrote: Get it over the line then get a centre back (a loan seems most likely).
May the bridges I burn light your way

He played for them yesterday, so more than definitely fit.ChrisC wrote:He has been playing for Liverpool pre season so should be fit.
Maybe a little tired though. Bless.

Yeah. But I suspect thats straying into ideal world territory.Bruce Rioja wrote:Whereas I'll jump through hoops if it'll land us Dawson, I still think we need another one there as well.BWFC_Insane wrote: Get it over the line then get a centre back (a loan seems most likely).
I don't think we'll get Dawson either. I suspect a loan of someone initially (hopefully).
Seems like we're trying to pack Mills off.

from another perspective... one door opens, another closes!
awww... bless!

Blackburn Rovers’ hopes of signing Liverpool starlet have ended as Bolton Wanderers look set to land the midfielder.
The move is expected to go through provided he passes his imminent medical at the Reebok Stadium.
Rovers were keen to bring him to Ewood Park and had agreed a fee with Liverpool.
However, it is understood the player was reluctant to join the club and was holding out for a move Wanderers where he spent last season on loan.

Nixon:
Some details of this will be interesting ... lad must have taken a hit on wages. If so, full credit to all deserved.
Re: Spearing! Fee agreed, set for medical
The fee at this stage is undisclosed, but is expected to be close to the £1.75m Liverpool agreed with Blackburn Rovers last month. (Liverpool Echo)

I reckon Nixon has been cut right out of the BWFC loop for now. Probably as a result of the question about him at the fans forum cos since then it seems he hasn't got a clue whats going on.freeindeed wrote:Nixon:

He's been quite crticial of Bolton so I suspect he's shifting all his journalistic weight behind his mate at Wigan.
Re: Spearing! Fee agreed, set for medical

I couldn't care less if he criticises, but having some accurate if unofficial insight into whats going on is very useful for fans.
