They do it before every game, including the first leg. But we're warned against it this time.

In parts of the world it is the norm. Here in the ME they often slaughter a goat on the drive of their new house. Good luck or something. In Dubai the authorities try and get people to use a public abattoir (for health reasons), but many will still do it at home.
