Well done! Now all you have to do is do a 5k with Paddy. 2 birds and all that...
He might pull me along! Good idea!
It's great. And these days they have CaniX (5k cross country races for dogs and their owners)
Since Shadow got old & lame I really miss running over the hills with him
Do they really? paddy would be ace at that. He loves running, was chasing after his ball totally mentally tonight on the village common even though it was so dark by then he could barely see it.

:( Re Shadow. x
tried running with my dogs - the greyhound and the collie - not a good idea with either of them - the collie got bored and buggered off to play with some horses - meaning i kept having to stop to go and get him - and the greyhound refused to jump over logs/styles/anything - and i have to stop to lift her over... (she also buggered off to squeeze under a barbed-wire fence and chase a horse round a field just yards away from a farmhouse.....) keep them on the lead - and the buggers run in front of you and trip you up!

i'd let you win if you wore the hotpants - but i suspect they might chafe over 5k - and i'd have to carry you...

Disgraced former sprinter Ben Johnson tells BBC Sport that he would have beaten current Olympic and world champion Usain Bolt over 100m.

The Canadian, who says it is time he was forgiven after being stripped of the 100m title at the 1988 Seoul Olympics after testing positive for anabolic steroids, claims he had more power than Jamaican Bolt.

Johnson, now 51, said he believed doping would always be a part of track and field as athletes were willing to take a chance in order to win, adding that he took drugs because he believed his competitors were also doping.
yeah... right!

How does that work? ON DRUGS he wasn't as quick as Bolt!

Getting close to Clacton triathlon this weekend.

This is my first Olympic distance triathlon which is a 1500m swim (in the sea), a 40k cycle ride and then a 10k run.

Very nervous, feel unprepared and I've just seen the forecast for Sunday - pissing down!

Was nice knowing you all! :hang:
