Why is that every time I need to go on a plane the fecking weather is shite. I really don't like flying but it wouldn't put me off if I need to go anywhere. I am flying to Dublin first thing Monday morning and will be back the same day. So two flights.

The Met Office are saying it will be up to 47mph winds and heavy rain. White knuckle ride and sweaty palms again.

If you think Dublin is bad go to Waterford notorious for cancelling flights from Ireland to England to the extent where your better of just going to Dublin weather you have a flights booked from Waterford or not. I know I have been a victim of this 5 times!

I don't care if the flight is cancelled. In fact quite the opposite. At the moment I would rather not go if it is too windy.

It's definitely in the OED as a verb transitive, and it's not a recent thing. And looking up my paper dictionary I see that the example I randomly plucked out of the air irregardless, is actually an interjection and not the use of the word as a voib.
