Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

The crushingly perma-unfunny Lenny Henry used to do this skit of him on Tiswas under the name, now, grab the Sellotape quickly so as to be ready for when your sides split here.................... Trevor McDoughnut. Yes, it really was that bad. Lenny Henry - can't even make kids laugh - quite an achievement.William the White wrote:I don't think Sir Trevor McDonald was on Tiswas. On News at 10 he read the news. That's what he did ... he read. Pretty well, to be fair but he read something.William the White wrote:I don't think Sir Trevor McDonald was on Tiswas. ... and in a hideously pompous voice that he manufactured from somewhere.
Bruce refers to Tiwas, above. Personally I think it was both Lenny Henry AND TMcD's finest hour.

People in London and the South generally don't drink tea and only really drink coffee, us northern folk prefer tea. It is a stereotype but having lived in both Horwich and Wokingham I can fairly say that it is a reasonably fair stereotype.Annoyed Grunt wrote:Southerner?bwfcdan94 wrote:Well you shouldn't be drinking coffee, closet southernerAnnoyed Grunt wrote:Hate the way your coffee tastes when you've got a new kettle.....
