What are you watching tonight?

If you have a life outside of BWFC, then this is the place to tell us all about your toilet habits, and those bizarre fetishes.......

My old man actively seeks spoilers. He likes to read the full synopsis and plot summaries of everything before he watches it! not just films, but tv shows too – he even knows whats gonna happen in Corrie weeks before whatever it is happens. It does his head in going into a cinema with no prior knowledge, like with new releases.

Caught a bit of that last night. Found it a bit disappointing.

Oh, I don't know. It was all stuff I'd be happy to have a crack at missen.

Anyway, just been notified by LF that they're sending me Taxi Driver, and yes, I know I'm amongst a very small number of people never to have seen it.

I was in that club until recently.

It's fab!
In a world that has decided
That it's going to lose its mind
Be more kind, my friends, try to be more kind.

Well, I'm still in it. Not as small a club as Bruce thought.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Well when I've watched it I'm gonna post big spoilers all over the forum to ruin it for you. Oh yes. :oyea:

I found it difficult to watch. Mainly because a grown man constantly using the word 'lush' made me cringe.

Wolves v Notts County in the Johnstones Paint trophy has gone to pennies. :oyea:

EDIT: Wolves, absolute shite at pennies. Notts County are through. Did I ever tell you that my first game was against Notts County in September 1974? 1-1. Neil Whatmore.

Just noticed The Ghost, the film of Robert Goddards book The Ghost Writer is on Freeview at 9-0'clock. Seen it but might give it another watch. Decent film.

With Ewan McGregor? Agreed - decent film and well worth a watch. Did you see you any characters that you may have recognised? ;)

Never seen a film that mirrored the book as closely. Absolutely verbatim.

It was on the telly box here not long ago. Watched it for the 2nd time and it reconfirmed that it was a decent film. Often they disappoint when you've read the book first. Not in this case.

It was generally thought at the time it came out that a certain American -friendly, Brit politician was the target of the film.

Robert Harris TD? Read most of his stuff and really enjoyed it but not that book so much. Didn't bother with the film. Currently watching a bit of Piranha DD so my taste is questionable to say the least. What a load of bollocks!
