Unlucky for him, but not a great loss.

My thoughts. This could be a blessing in disguise.

Its the one position not tinkered with

Frustrating that our injury jinx/luck/mismanagement (call it what you like) shows no sign of dissapearing.

I like Lonergan, when he's been played. Bogdan concerns me ... but he has certainly has had a couple of matches where he's made the (positive) difference this season.

Ah well. Never rains but it pours.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Bogdan is a good keeper, but I have great confidence in Lonergan. I wonder if he will do well enough to keep the place when Boggers is back to full fitness.

That's a bit of a bugger, but on the other hand, if we get thrashed 0-5 by the Tractor Boys we can always use the "Our proper goalie is injured" and give Dougie another ten games. Though injured in training ffs. Perhaps out training regime is flawed. 8)

Fxcking training!
Don't get me wrong, sitting around on sofas having a few pies isn't a great regime, but some of the bollix that people come up with these days is sheer nonsense. I've spouted off about this on another thread, so I'll not start here... but Dougie is beginning to annoy me regarding this fitness malarkey bee-in-his-bonnet-crap.
That's not a leopard!

That's a leap of faith, maybe he went for a high cross bumped into someone and landed awkwardly!

Lynch, the third choice keeper, is also out for the next five weeks according to his Twittering. Time for Kevin Poole to make a comeback.

I don't care if the man himself has put it on his facebook page, I'm not believing anything until Nixon exclusively breaks the story.

Leap of faith it may be but since the much heralded science stuff was brought in we have had loads of injuries, no obvious sharpness and terrible results.

Yeah, coz we were fine before.

It seems reasonable to conclude that any new sciencey approach doesn't appear to be having the effect we were hoping for. To suggest that's it is *causing* injuries seems some stretch of reasoning to me!

Seems a bit fishy to me.

A keeper who is woefully out of form and a lot of people are calling on to be dropped, suddenly develops an injury that will keep him out for a couple of weeks??

This other site to which you refer, Enfield. Was it not taking the piss (bad back as mentioned above, nearly 10 past Bogdan..... etc. etc.)?
It probably did say something somewhere, but Gary's gone and broken the internet.

Ahem.

The Vela comments seem to suggest that his training methods are injuring HIM
