We have everybody from Nat onwards through, Worthy, Walker, McGinlay, Jay-Jay, Speed, Campo, Youri even SuperKev and he chooses a pic of a Gooner? Sad, sad. Badly done indeed sir.Gooner Girl wrote:Today I am extremely happy about Harry's new avatar. Thank you kindly, it made me smilefar nicer then the old one!

Nah, he's just being nice cos I complained his last pic was too unnerving! And really, who could hate Bergkamp?TANGODANCER wrote:We have everybody from Nat onwards through, Worthy, Walker, McGinlay, Jay-Jay, Speed, Campo, Youri even SuperKev and he chooses a pic of a Gooner? Perhaps he should have Jack Wilshere next, someone we would all approve of?!

Bergkamp was a top footballer, and a proper nasty little cnut too.

No G-G, he really shouldn't. It's a Whites forum and if he's having footballers he should have a Whites player up there.Gooner Girl wrote:Nah, he's just being nice cos I complained his last pic was too unnerving! he's hardly a controversial figure and he was a very good footballer.

Does it pain you to see my awesome avatar of Rice and Wenger having a little snuggle?!TANGODANCER wrote:No G-G, he really shouldn't. No because that is funny. Bergkamp was a very good footballer and I would like to see where these allegations of him being a dirty bugger have come from because I thought he was a model pro.Gooner Girl wrote:Does it pain you to see my awesome avatar of Rice and Wenger having a little snuggle?!TANGODANCER wrote:No G-G, he really shouldn't. After a few years of recognising talent when he saw it, just remember who signed Bergkamp for Arsenal.

Hope is what keeps us going.

Indeed. Note how it's described as his 'latest' video nasty. I also remember him escaping the world's most obvious red for twatting Ricky G at the Reebok in the build-up to a goal he set up. He was a right 'orrible cnut.
But you can't take that element out of his game. The top, top, top, top players all play at the edge. They wouldn't be the same otherwise. Probably.

Re: Today I'm happy about......
He was a right crafty bugger. As you say, always on the edge of what was ok, often appearing sly with fouls/pushes/shirt pulls. Not the stuff you'd remember I guess if he plays for your team. Shearer was similar, but not as bad as bergkampPrufrock wrote:Indeed. Note how it's described as his 'latest' video nasty.
