How Northern are you? Take the test....

If you have a life outside of BWFC, then this is the place to tell us all about your toilet habits, and those bizarre fetishes.......

What do people with this particular hang up (if there are others) say when they want to ask a female acquaintance out for an evening meal?
Ah ... that's when one takes on the affectations of ponciness and it's acceptable. I suppose I consider 'tea' to be low key and matter of fact, whereas 'dinner' is a more formal and refined affair.

If you have dinner in the evening what do you call the midday meal ?
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Think the northern rules have changed a bit. One time nobody could afford meals out, so you had you tea, and your dinner was at dinner time. Tea's a drink, but in this area it was what you had after work. I think it was because, after a day in the mill or down the pit nobody could be bothered getting the soup tureens and fourteen-piece silver service, cutlery sets out and serving the wine, so they just brewed a pot of tea instead and called it tea time.

Obviously thought up by a southerner, as it only contains areas close to the A1-M1 corridor. Heaven forfend that they ever learn anything about the world.
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

The north west was seriously neglected by this test I agree.

^ I have never eaten a pudding since 1978 when a colleague went to a house in Breightmet from where the occupants had called 999. They had bought pudding and chips and the Mrs was quietly enjoying it when she felt something unusual in her mouth. On investigating further she found an cows entire eyelid including all the eye lashes. She was violently sick and wanted retribution. I've not been able to look at a pudding from that day to this without feeling ill. Don't let it put you off though.
