Not been for years but always well worth it, proper racing along with the support races, nothing like that F1 procession. Can't comment on Oulton Park as never been
My dog (proper 57) had his anal glands emptied once and yes the smell is something to behold!!

I recall some years ago watching 'highlights' of the BTCC. It was mayhem on wheels. I assume that stewards didn't exist then. What it wasn't was motor racing, as it was more like dodgem cars with 2-litre motors installed. Perhaps it's changed since those days.
As Raven mentioned in his post the support races can be more interesting than the marquee event. Maybe I'm an old phart but even as a youngster I loved to watch motor racing for the inherent excitement engendered by watching good driving. Unfortunately I haven't attended a motor racing meeting for yonks; even when I did it occurred to me that many of my fellow spectators were there for the crashes and not the skills.
If you can afford it, my grunty friend, then go.
