If this dick'ed really means this then I suggest he stops runing down the army because he will need to deploy a lot of troops on the streets to protect his wealthy pals and their property.

Class one knobs him and Camoron.

Just paid in excess of £100 for my M&D's tickets for West Side story for xmas. I wouldn't mind, but the surcharge (read "ooh, so you'd actually like to buy a ticket would you? That's novel, you think we'd quote that in the price of actually buying a f*cking ticket, wouldn't you?") came to £15. Really twists my nipples.
Oh yes. Doesn't it just?! The one that boiled my piss up the most was a couple of years ago - I'd ordered tickets online for summat or other, then, and bearing in mind that I'd already had to succumb to some or other 'administration fees' at the end of the transaction it led me to this 'Method of Delivery' screen. Here I was given two options;

1 - Standard UK postal delivery. £3 per ticket (I think)
2 - Express service. £3 per ticket.

Of course, being the same price and there clearly being no way round it I selected the 'express service' thinking that they'd send them on a courier or summat. Oh no. Up pop PDF's of my tickets for me to print off on my printer, using my electricity, onto my paper with my fecking ink!

I don't think I've ever felt as had-over in all my life!

Just got stung in the same way (though only for £1.90, two thirds of what yours' cost - it's funny how the UK postal delivery of a bit of paper can vary so much isn't it, almost like they're fecking making that up too!), although they at least had the decency to explain that 'express' meant printing it myself before I selected it.

Well then, despite it being far more convenient to print it off myself, I'll be having the feckers posted.

The Eagles at the Glasgow Hydro.

£140.00 per ticket.

I didn't like The Eagles before.
I'm not asking you to 'think outside the box' I just wish you'd have a rummage around in it once in a while.

I saw an Eagles tribute with my Mum for £7 at the Moses Gate. Dull, bland and uninspiring, so a fairly accurate representation. Why pay 20 times that for effectively the same thing?

Even the Eagles don't like The Eagles.

My brother in law saw them a few years back. He said it was just like listening to a cd.

In a bad way.

They are surely THE most cynical money making band on the go. Even Simon Cowell wouldn't take the rip like this lot.

I've only ever been to one concert (Pink at Hampden) but a while back I had to do some serious back tracking when 'the wives' said wouldn't it be good if we all went to see George Michael. When I sobered up the following morning I told her to get on to her friends and tell them all that my 'yes' had been retracted when I saw the price of tickets.

£65.00 a pop.

Plus a taxi, plus dinner, plus drinks, plus time to get away from the venue and the rest.

By the end we'd be looking at about £200 between us. Nae chance.

In the end we went out for a nice nosh, and put Freedom on the cd when we got back to our friends.

I did suggest we could go and hang around some public toilets on the off chance of meeting the man in person but no one fancied that.

Pink was ok but I wouldn't consider going to another gig.

The disableds are a drain on this nation.

Apart from the good ones that win gold medals.

Single mums are just scroungers, as are people who've been injured at work, half of them don't even want to work or are ill.

So kill them all just to make sure we get their right ones.

Just as long as the banks are ok, well the bankers to be more specific.

I suppose all parents worry about this but I shudder to think what kind of world my kids will be growing up in. I can see them chasing around like bloody Tina Turner in Mad Max.

Thatcher must be applauding from her grave.

"But it'll create loads of jobs"

No it won't, the contract will be given to somebody who offers the nicest sweetener to the Government, or some company who just happens to have an ex Tory minister on their board of directors. They won't employ extra people, they'll just do it with whatever man-power they already have an just take much, much longer to carry out the work, costing the country a few extra billion.

We should have had HS trainline years ago. If the French, the Belgies, the Dutch and the bloody Krauts can sort it then why haven't we?

Now it's too late.

The price will X Overbudget to the power of 10 they'll be fighting for every scrap of land that has a leaf that looks like it might have been chewed by a Crested Newt and the whole thing will wind up a total shambles.

What have we been doing since the war?

Sleeping walking into civil war! I'm telling you. Time to crack a few skulls, if I'm going down I'm taking a few of these bastards with me....

And so on.

Seriously though the infrastructure of the UK is an embarrassment. When the Pope came to Glasgow he said it was like a thirld world country and he'd know.

Still, we've got an outdoor ice rink and a fuggin' Ferris Wheel.

I'd just give him a drink of the water, see how funny he finds that.

One of my other neighbour's dog is ill also because of it. Now he wasn't a happy bunny at all...suffice it to say we don't expect a particular family to be resident around here for much longer.

Dunderheads. Had to buy a new tumble dryer the other day, which is bad enough just before Christmas. It ws scheduled for delivery today anytime from 7-30 am onwards. We got up early and waited. When nothing had happened by 4-pm the wife rang up and, after no contact with the numbers she was given eventually got a human on the line at another department. They were helpful enough checking and told her the delivery was within five minutes of us.

While she was on the line the waggon arrived outside. The guy on the line checked our details and said " No 5 you say, I've got No 4 down here, are you sure?" Wife informed him yes, we know where we live and wouldn't have given a wrong number. "Oh", the guy said, "well, the driver may not want to deliver it to a different number than it says on his sheet but if he doesn't I could have a word if you like". By this time I was outside and explained this to the driver..his comment: "They manage at least two f-ups a day somehow. I've already got one I'm taking back because they got the address wrong"

I really was under the impression that there were computer data bases with postcodes that gave the name and addresses of people including house numbers? Am I wrong? I was annoyed because if the wife hadn't rung right at that moment and there had been no one in at no 4, ( which is lower down on the opposite side to us) Lord knows when we'd have had our delivery. They certainly got all the invoice details right quick enough.

Post Codes normally cover a couple of dozen houses Tango. That's why when you give it down line they'll then ask the house number. I have no understanding why they'd write/type 4 when you said 5 though.

Morons, maybe.

Well, I suppose both numbers begin with "f". :|
