He did. Well done Matty.
Will Monty and Jimmy manage to get through to lunch? I very much doubt it.
2-0 is looking inevitable.

Re: Winter ashes...
Ah well. There are three to come. England needs only two wins to retain the Ashes.
Edit:
I was just pondering on the size of the defeats in the first two tests. It's a staggering aggregate of 599 runs.
Surely a few batsmen and bowlers (and fieldsmen) will stand up and be counted in Perth? I truly hope so.

What were the odds on a 5-0 whitewash before the Ashes started? Any idea? Its looking like a decent bet at the moment.

Re: Winter ashes...
Is that 2AM right, the bish?
Play starts at 1030 WA time. I'm 3 hours ahead of Perth which means 1330 for me. GMT/UTC is 11 hours behind my local time. If my calculations are correct than that's 0230 in your neck of the woods. To double check and make it more simple: WA is 8 hours ahead of GMT. 1030 less 8 hours gives 0230.
That extra half of snooze time is worth having.

I can tell you without the complicated time workings that if it kicks off at half past something there, it won't be 2am here!

Aussies keep winning the toss, but Jimmy ran Rogers out early on. Broad clobbered in his first over and Jimmy gets the run put in his second over.
