Re: Today I'm angry about.....
Its interesting that the Daily Mail-led clamour after the Olympics was all about the return of competitive sports in schools.
Would these be the same schools churning out our greatest clutch of Olympic athletes ever?

You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

Re: Today I'm angry about.....
To be fair it has not stopped us deporting people (undesirables) before
Yes he is our problem, your right, unfortunately we have a perceived attitude that allows people like him to stomp round the country causing mischief and getting away with things that were they said about his beliefs or style of living the woolly back liberals would scream blue murder. [/quote]
Hoboh - pause for breath. HOW on earth do we deport a UK national? where to? - and why should we dump our problem citizens in someone else's country? I thought the force of your previous arguments was that dodgy characters should be shipped off back to where they come from because they are not our problem.. if you won't accept other country's problem citizens over here - WHY THE FECK would you expect other countries to accept OUR problem citizens???

Can we re-open that one and leave the fooking cricket team there?

I don't really know what this means, but if you're on about the last election, (I think) I said the Tories would win, but not be enough. Liebor did not win the last election!
Anyway, if you'd done media studies at school maybe you'd not believe everything you read in the Mail.

Maybe not, as weren't half the medals were won in the private 7% of schools?Lord Kangana wrote:Its interesting that the Daily Mail-led clamour after the Olympics was all about the return of competitive sports in schools.

I'd still suggest the % of wins by state school puils to be the highest medal haul in a generation.

1) Mail/ Express distort/ manipulate/ or sometimes even lie about Europe/ Muslims/ Human Rights/ Schools.
2) You buy it hook, line and sinker and come ranting on here with a link to the Mail Online and and incoherent sentence.
3) Someone points out the dishonest slant the story has been given.
4) You pipe down until next time.

Re: Today I'm angry about.....
This morning, I've been told I have to attend a team away day this week. There's no way out of it, there's a 3 line whip for the entire team. It's the 5th, maybe 6th one since 1st April, all of which have been useless and all of which have wasted massive amounts of publiuc funding. Never mind I thought, perhaps this one will be different. I've just been given the agenda for the day. Following the 'Ice Breaker', there are sessions entitled 'Winter Wonderland', 'Eggnog' and 'Quiz'. Feck me rigid.................

Bit of mischief there mentioning the Mail's bete noire of modern academic subjects Pru?

Re: Today I'm angry about.....
We did one Friday before last. It was the 'crystal maze', with some guy dressed up as Richard O'brien. Split into teams then did a load of different challenges to win crystals. Top 2 teams went into the dome (being a big inflatable thing), and the team that got the most gold pieces of paper won. (It was actually quite good).Bijou Bob wrote:This morning, I've been told I have to attend a team away day this week. There's no way out of it, there's a 3 line whip for the entire team. Oh right, so only the Mail, not the BBC or Guardian puts a 'slant' on things or chooses to ignore them?
2) You buy it hook, line and sinker and come ranting on here with a link to the Mail Online and and incoherent sentence.
Do I? So I only read the mail then.
Seems your quite 'andy at stringing together a decent sentence, anyway must remember my mother always told me not to argue with anyone in a Pink dressing gown.
3) Someone points out the dishonest slant the story has been given.
Someone always spouts the soft-arsed Liberal/Socialist, brain washed by the Bliar views, yes.
4) You pipe down until next time.
Which given the crap you fools and your views inflict upon us is rarely more than 24hrs, besides I still have to earn a living.

No sharks, but Rockall would fit the bill perfectly.Hoboh wrote:I'm sure we must own a lump of rock somewhere we can deport the unwanted to,couple of helicopter gunships off shore to guard it, shark infested waters, job sorted.thebish wrote:ahhh - I see - Hoboh IS living in the 19th Century! all becomes clear!

I think you could probably do without the gunships and sharks as a nod in the direction of progressive liberalism.
