If it were in the plan, I'd certainly back him to pull it off.

Adam Le Fondre (spelling?) wants out of Reading. Would love him here.

He's useless at spelling and doesn't like reading. How's his writing?

Saw that and thought the same. Then realised he'd just end up running round by himself up front while the midfield passes it sideways and then backwards before a defender or keeper launches it at his head for him not to win.

Yeah but he can't be as annoying as watching Beckford run round by himself up front crying like a girl all game.

Maybe not but hardly a compelling reason to sign him!

I just don't think he'd fit in with our manager's bullshit plan. But then, who does?

I pay good money to watch the whites 8) if I want to watch someone run round aimlessly without being a moaning girl then the club should make it happen! :D

On a serious note, if he dropped he crying I am convinced he would create more openings for himself. A few times is season he has been to busy crying to receive a pass off someone in a good position.

which isn't bad for a bolton striker half way through the season when he hasn't been picked consistently...

Agreed, but he is still frustrating to watch. You would think he would learn to get on with the game at his age.

There's a good reason he's been generally disliked at most of his clubs, and it's his on-pitch demeanour. He's scored 7 in 23 appearances, I know they weren't all starts but it's no great either.
I'd still have played him over mason and Ngog though. We really have scraped the barrel with strikers recently.

7 in 23 is pretty much as good as any of our strikers in recent history, isn't it? sturridge probably had the best strike-rate - then anelka... those two aside - has anyone got better than 7 in 23?

i'm not that fussed about likeability - i do like a goal though!
