Liverpool laughing stocks?

There ARE other teams(we'd have no-one to play otherwise) and here's where all-comers can discuss the wider world of football......

Oldham fan has been stabbed at Liverpool. Only sketchy details at the moment, so not sure if it's football related, or a random attack. No news in his condition yet either.

"A spokesman said the fan, whose injuries were not life-threatening, is refusing to talk to detectives".

mmmmm. Interesting.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Wouldn't matter anyway. He'd probably miss the salient points. 8)

Probably a lad if he was not willing to talk to the police, would not be surprised to see an act of revenge but I hope there isn"t
The above post is complete bollox/garbage/nonsense, please point this out to me at any and every occasion possible.

I saw this on the Beeb website... Gerrard in £96,000 Hillsborough move
I've been done! I was expecting Rodgers had flogged him to Sheff Wed for a few k. How disappointing.

Noticed Gerrard mentions he wanted to make the donation when 'the timing was right', the cynic in me assumes that this translates as 'I'll make the donation when I can get the most publicity of it'. Why not round it up to a £100,000 anyway?!

Because it's "the Hillsborough 96".

You'd know this if you believed.

It's a gesture borrowed off Benitez, which tells you all you need to know.

It's a syllogism: Gerrard is a prick.

Tax deductable charity donation plus total adoration from the hub-cap collectors. Would have seemed a bit more genuine had he waited until after the derby and It's less than a weeks wages for him. 8)

Jeez, there's some cynical folk on here. Footballers rightly get slagged off for some of their excesses but here's a guy making a hefty donation to a fund he believes in. Well done Stevie lah :pissed:

Any diverted income toward a charity can be made pre tax with the correct paperwork. In fact by requesting it to go directly to the charity and never actually hitting his account I doubt there's any significant steps to take.

Maybe a multi millionaire just wanted to make a charitable donation to a cause close to him, his family and the community he lives in?

Imagine that eh?

There are many reasons to have a pop at Gerrard and I'm usually first in line, but surely this isn't one of them.

Now if you don’t mind, would you care to read the opening post on this that I actually wrote, because I don't believe it targets the areas you seem to think it's aimed at...
