Trust the BBC to concentrate their coverage on the one element that criticises the cops whilst ignoring the violence inside the court.

Aye, & the Jury are effectively chased out of Court. Too much of this will reduce the viability of Trial By Jury. Then let's hear the screaming.

Following the verdict we have quite competent people seemingly unable to understand the logic of the Jury's views that ;
a). He'd thrown the gun away as they actually stopped him.
b). The Police didn't know this and believed he still had it.

Too many are already questioning these two findings as compatible, whereas they are entirely so.

The rest of your post is highly contentious. The highlighted is just, demonstrably wrong. And demonstrated by the anger of people at a verdict of lawful killing. I heard of his mother's heartbreak and his aunt's interview on the radio today. I also heard his friends, angry at the verdict, seeking what they view as justice for an unarmed man killed by the police.

Do they have to ask your permission to mourn the death of a son, a nephew or a friend?
