Re: Tonight's Football
They just can't get near City. It's like watching Spain vs Tahiti all over again. Except Tahiti played better than Spam.
Re: Tonight's Football
5-0 on 60 mins this could get far worse for the unhappy ammers
Edit to replace good with could.

5-0 down away on a wet Wednesday in Manchester and the West Ham fans are still singing and clapping. On the back of a 5-0 defeat by a championship side a few days before.
Might not like em, but that is cracking support.

sometimes defeat reaches such a level that it is funny and that's all you can do... we've done it... don't mean they are happy though...BWFC_Insane wrote:5-0 down away on a wet Wednesday in Manchester and the West Ham fans are still singing and clapping. Re: Tonight's Football
I remember Keegan praising our away support for singing "we are bottom of the league" a few years back. When we really were bottom of the league. And properly shit. That was fantastic support too.
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

Re: Tonight's Football
This is City barely out of 1st gear.
Their only issue is that the final isn't going to be played at the Etihad. Will they be quite as dominant down in that there London?

Re: Tonight's Football
6-0 but it's only the first leg and WH have had about 30% possession. I think there's a BFS plan afoot.

I'd be fascinated to see a City-Barca Champs League tie. Both capable of destroying anybody at home on their day.

I hope this City match wasn't the free game that they treated this lad to

Allegedly, but I'm up for a bet on him being pushed in slowly and getting injured again within half a dozen games. 1966 followed by almost 50 years of crap. Got to admire their chutzpa.

Poor little bugger'll be chucking himself under a bus if he doesn't pick up cricket soon. Good luck to them in their new stadium though. My oh my!

Re: Tonight's Football
I think that the 'ammers did quite well keeping it down to six. City have spanked better teams than them this year.
