What are you playing tonight?

If you have a life outside of BWFC, then this is the place to tell us all about your toilet habits, and those bizarre fetishes.......

Just watched Sting: When the last ship sails, on BBC1 (his new album). Was only intending to flick through, probably, but stayed the full distance. Found it absolutely enthralling.

My friends all love Tim Minchin, but a couple of songs aside I've never really listened to much of his stuff. Had a few songs on in the background on my headphones at work on Friday, and out of nowhere burst out laughing at this song.

In a world that has decided
That it's going to lose its mind
Be more kind, my friends, try to be more kind.

find 10mins - make yourself comfortable in a darkened room with a glass of red wine - light a candle or two - make sure the phone won't go and nobody will disturb you and indulge yourself with 7mins of calm relaxation... the words are from the "benedictus" - the song that Zechariah sang when his baby (John the Baptist) was handed to him.... so it is part of the christmas story..

you will feel better for it!

Listened to Daniel Barenboim conducting the Vienna Philarmonic before the match. Class.

This morning I listened to The Freewheelin Bob Dylan. For the first time in years.

Could still remember all the words, though.

Funny you should mention it, I fixed (changed the fuse in) my hi-fi that I haven't used for years yesterday and Freewheelin' was the CD in it. Must have listened to it 3 or 4 times since.

Brilliant stuff. The track "King And Lionheart" is especially good.
Was a bit late to the party with this one, but popped it on my wish list after listening to a few tracks on you tube. Great shout chaps. Hasn't been off the stereo since Xmas day :oyea:

Analogue by A-Ha. A surprisingly very good album. Worth a try if you've only heard their early boy band stuff

That was a rather wonderful way to wake up this morning. To my untrained and rather ignorant ear, it has echoes of Dvorak's 9th New World symphony. Lovely.

Interesting. The sound of Roy Orbison's voice has me diving for the off switch.
