more magnets would be generally ace - as would having more lions swimming with the sharks and dolphins...
The people of Burnley would just chuck the bricks from their decaying houses at them * the lions) Bish, no point. I suppose they could be a further tourist attraction at Redcar "come for the booze stay for the zooz". They would just be used as guard dogs anywhere else sh*t.

I was told about an estate in Bradford today called Holme Wood, will he to see it myself and no looking it up on Google Maps does not count in my book.
The above post is complete bollox/garbage/nonsense, please point this out to me at any and every occasion possible.

I see that a pound store in Wrexham was beseiged by wankers who were 'outraged' that the half price sale was cancelled...as if the crap they were buying is any better at 49p than 99p.

You want to read some of the local blogs on it !!

Some people had over £200's worth of items .... at 50p each. Now THAT's how to make your benefits go further.

It was a '99p' shop. It had failed to renew it's lease on the building at, at those prices, it seemed better to sell stuff off at half-price than move it on. During the morning a compromise was achieved and the lease renewed. The manager simply took the items of 'sale' and told the queues that the offers no longer applied.

A riot more or less kicked off, the Police were called and the shop was emptied.

The regional manager has said that, with hindsight, maybe it'd have been best to close the doors and serve people in the queue at that point.

Some people are investigating whether 50p is half of 99p & threatening to sue.

Some people are wankers !!

Of course it is. .5's are automatically rounded up. Didn't these people go to school? Ah...... yes....... I see.

Years ago, when I worked for the company responsible for the world famous lubricant, penetrating oil and water-displacing spray whose inventor got it right at the 40th attempt, well, I was at a meeting at which it was announced that we were going to stop producing the 100ml can. It represented desperately poor value to the consumer and we sold very little of it. I said that I had an idea and asked if we could give it a stay of execution whilst I looked into something. To cut a long story short I got it listed at Poundstretcher, who sold it like hot cakes.

Many years ago I had a very unfortunate spell as a rep. I tried many lines, all of which failed but my biggest disappointment was when I got Poundstretcher to stock thousands of hot cakes...and they sold just one.

Obviously, I'm in the Masons...

We meet up regularly with Bolsheviks and Jewish plutocrats to discuss how best to rule the world. Our President is a great grandchild of Jack the Ripper and nephew of Hannibal Lecter... And we love him for it...

I got a little Clio 182 just before Christmas, 55 plate with only 44k on the clock. A week ago someone went into the side of me and it's been declared a write off because the B pillar is slightly bent. Are there any mechanics/body shop bods on here pls that can shed any light on how easy it would be to make the car road worthy?

Not too sure about repairs, but you'll need to declare to the insurance what catagory write off it is......

Bloody hell Bruce, I've spent my life thinking it stood for War Department (contract) 40. And never bothered to even verify that fact to myself. Illusions shattered.

And I can't believe you lower yourself to pound shops. By the way. Another illusion shattered.
