I've only got the BBC web text to go off but it sounds / reads like a cracking game.

Think they are over selling it. Only Chelsea have turned up so far....Bruce Rioja wrote:I've only got the BBC web text to go off but it sounds / reads like a cracking game.
Hazard is a wonderful player to watch in this form though.
And if ever you wanted to see how 4-2-3-1 can really work, watch this first half from Chelsea. Two big lads holding in midfield, physical presences in Matic and Luiz. 3 mobile and interchangeable players in front of them and a quick and willing runner up front.

Said early on that Toure was inches away from getting onto 'the goal of the season'.BWFC_Insane wrote:Think they are over selling it. Only Chelsea have turned up so far....Bruce Rioja wrote:I've only got the BBC web text to go off but it sounds / reads like a cracking game.

The boy Lineker agrees almost verbatim with your take on Chelsea's formation.
Sounds like Hazard taking the piss out of Zabaleta.

Depends who gets the initiative early on, could work vice versa, like it did for Bayern.ChrisC wrote:Barca are going to have a field day with this City defence.

Chelsea should have scored again.. Should have this game done and dusted. They will get bitten if they don't take another chance or two.

His touch graphic from the first half. He's getting about a bit, the lad.BWFC_Insane wrote: Hazard is taking the piss out of everybody....

Re: Tonight's Football
Negredo off after a quiet one. Happens to the best but tonight's not the best night to be a bit off. Credit to Chelsea though.

Re: Tonight's Football
Regardless what happens now, surely this just shows the folly of trying to play 2 up front against a properly organised and drilled 4-2-3-1. City just getting dominated in midfield....crazy.
