Yeah, I can understand that. On refection he might have felt 'why am I wasting my life like this?' - and found no easy answer.

I was rather hoping that he'd taken up Neknmominating instead. How disappointing.

I was under the complete misunderstanding that that was something to do with the Mighty Cthulhu, but it seems I'm confusing my Necronomikons wi' me Neknominations...Bruce Rioja wrote:I was rather hoping that he'd taken up Neknmominating instead. How disappointing.

Re: Today I'm angry about.....
More resigned than angry: Wife and daughter went to the very last night of Gravity at the Middlebrook and the wife was so impressed with Sandra Bullock she had a go at space-walking and took a header down the stairs coming out. Result, ninety minutes in A&E at Bolton Hospital (which was an unbelievably good time) X Ray, instuction to rest totally and a pair of Long John Silver specials. I tried very hard to keep a straight face when the medic chap asked "What film did you see?" Much laughter greeted her reply allowing me to join in. Luckily, she only fell down a few steps. I pick the parrot up tomorrow.
Whilst I offer heartfelt sympathies, I can just see a couple of very miserable days ahead for me, starting with the weekly supermarket shop tomorrow.

Hope she gets better.
Why not try shopping online, if your not used to doing it. You can check your list as many times as you want before paying for it.

Blimey Tango. Best wishes to her.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

She is having a bad month but hopefully things will soon get better. My wife liked the film although I thought it was so-so. No stairs coming out of our theatre.

I hope he comes back soon.

Hope she recovers soon Tango. Definitely try the online shopping. As Jaffka says it is easy and will save you some hassle. You can also slip some extras in and blame it on Asda if Mrs TD queries it

I have absolutely no idea as to what any of that actually means, but mention of A&E leads me to conclude that it isn't good and I hope that Mrs Tango recovers swiftly from whatever's happened.TANGODANCER wrote: wife was so impressed with Sandra Bullock she had a go at space-walking and took a header down the stairs coming out....... a pair of Long John Silver specials.

Re: Today I'm angry about.....
Thanks for the good wishes all. She's housebound for a few days but the pain's eased a bit. I just got back from a trip to Asda. She wrote a list and put down all the food, household stuff and dog food etc. Right at the bottom, like an afterthought "Food for you?". Get your priorities right hey?

Re: Today I'm angry about.....
Hope she is alright TD, that list still left room for you to treat yourself though and you can always go through it backwards.

Crikey, TANGO, that's a bit of a shock for both of you I imagine. There'll be lots of Brownie points on offer. Mind you, don't get too clever as if you do you'll find yourself down at the shops every week.
