Re: Today I'm angry about.....
Actually she was quite pleased with my shopping today (especially the bill) but she likes shopping herself too much for it to become a regular thing. I've been quite good today with drinks, meals even, but she's already being stupid about resting, and hopping about. She just isn't the sort to be incapacitated for too long. She does realise however that 3-0'clock till five on match days is pre-booked, come what may.Dujon wrote:Crikey, TANGO, that's a bit of a shock for both of you I imagine. There'll be lots of Brownie points on offer. Mind you, don't get too clever as if you do you'll find yourself down at the shops every week.

Re: Today I'm angry about.....
Left work last night thinking - don't need to go to the supermarket this week, don't need anything. Have spent this morning compiling a list of all the things I need from the supermarket.

May the bridges I burn light your way
Re: Today I'm angry about.....
Went outside to find that the people who live opposite us (an elderly couple) have had their brick wall damaged during the winds of last night, they are not to everybody's taste (as they are 2 lesbians) but I was shocked to hear that 2 people who live in our street (which only has 30 houses) had walked straight past while they were trying to clear up without offering their assistance, of course as soon as I saw the wall I helped them,Keep in mind our street is a dead end so 99% of people who walk down here live on this street. It was mainly that the wall had collapsed in chunks and therefore for 2 little old ladies it is difficult to lift 7 or 8 bricks still joint together.

What are you indicating buy that image? It makes no difference what sexual orientation people are, but is does seem to make a difference t some people especially in middle class Wokingham where everybody is suppose to fit a certain image.Bruce Rioja wrote:bwfcdan94 wrote:they are not to everybody's taste (as they are 2 lesbians)

My mate's aunty is a lesbian, and been in a relationship for about 10 years. His nan still thinks it's a phase; and keeps calling them 'synonyms, no wait... lesbonyms....LESBIANS!'.

Re: Today I'm angry about.....
Ordered a skip yesterday for over the weekend.....was out at 8 o'clock filling it......it's been collected about 10 minutes ago.
Phoned the skip people, they have collected it as they "had a lady call to say its ready to be collected"
The Mrs didn't do it.....must be one of the neighbours being a prick.....

Re: Today I'm angry about.....
I didn't 'buy' that image and nor was I suggesting that you should either, it was free from Google images. I'd tell you to Google Finbarr Saunders, but even if you did I still doubt you'd get it.bwfcdan94 wrote:What are you indicating buy that image? Just out of curiosity, when 'two little old ladies' live together is it a presumption or certain knowledge that they are lesbians?bwfcdan94 wrote:Went outside to find that the people who live opposite us (an elderly couple) have had their brick wall damaged during the winds of last night, they are not to everybody's taste (as they are 2 lesbians) but I was shocked to hear that 2 people who live in our street (which only has 30 houses) had walked straight past while they were trying to clear up without offering their assistance, of course as soon as I saw the wall I helped them,Keep in mind our street is a dead end so 99% of people who walk down here live on this street. As Bruce has said...how do you make that out?
Re: Today I'm angry about.....
"Finbarr Saunders and his Double Entendres" is a strip from Viz. It stars a cheeky young lad who reads dirty double meanings into innocuous conversations, but is completely oblivious to the sexual relationship between his mother and her friend Mr Gimlet, no matter how bluntly they spell it out to him."
I don't read dirty double meanings into anything (although that's not the bit that bothers me) and I know my dad is seeing somebody and began seeing her about 3 months after mum died(because he is a c***) and he is planning to move in with her (and her 2 children) with my sister despite the fact my sister absolutely hates the woman and her children(she has met them) and will involve moving my sister to an area she detests while I am left to calve away a life for myself(which dosent bother me). It is redicoulas that he began seeing somebody so soon and is prepared to mess with the lives of his 2 children(in particular my sister, myself not so much). I am looking to move back to Horwich and get away from it all and don't really intend to have a lot to with my dad once I move (and I doubt my sister will want much to do with me because she is nearly as selfish as him and is at an age where it not cool to talk to your big brother). That is why I have been trying so hard to find a job so I can get away from Wokingham and away from my dad who in total honesty I have lost all respect fro him(and yet I had a massive amount of respect for him before me mum died). The way me and my sister see it is that his priorities are:
1. His new partner
2. his work
3. his partners children
4. us
So yeah I do get annoyed when you label me as Finbarr Saunders as I know the score and have lsot the will to care.

Re: Today I'm angry about.....
What a shit of a week.
A close relative tried to 'top' herself and then today I am advised that one of my sisters-in-law died this morning - she'd been battling, I think ovarian, cancer for a few years. You never know when life will bowl a yorker at you.
