But you're a fashion icon: you wear cardigans and have a pink dressing gown. You'll be telling me no one's wearing fishermens' waistcoats any more next....Prufrock wrote:You *are* 90 so it's fine.

Get a fanny pack.Prufrock wrote:It's not the nineties! I dont have combat pants. Keys and wallet in one, phone in the other. They'd still get tangled up anyway. I want them to make ones I CAN wrap around my phone without breaking. Someone do that. Dragons Den.

Re: Today I'm angry about.....
There is a number of reasons for that: social media has meant we are constantly in touch with everyone else and constantly need to know what everyone else is doing - over reliance on technology is a much wider problem. The amount of information we have at our finger tips has meant we don't have to do any thinking for ourselves and as result my generation has waved goodbye to common sense in favour of academics. Also we as a country have softened up in so many of our principles and as a youth I can say that throughout your childhood and teen years especially at school you have a spoon thrust into your mouth do this do that. Policitcal correctness has played its part as well and has really softened up my generation but those on the forum who are 10 or even 15 years older than myself have been affected to. None the less my generation is having it tough at the moment with youth unemployment apparently being at it highest rate every on record in the last 3 years. However we are getting to the stage where in 20 or so years time if an enemy of the state wanted to crash this country they wouldn't send in a huge invading force, they wouldn't send a nuke they would simply turn of the internet connection and watch as the chaos unfolds.jaffka wrote:The youth of today seem to be so needy.

Went to pick up post at my house yesterday. In plain View and in breach of our tenancy agreement was a feckin huge ginger tom. Unfortunately for the Tenant, her lease is up in four weeks. It's either the cat or her. Not a happy bunny.

Bob has an incontinent puppy. I hardly think a cat is going to do more damage then that! I agree if it was in the terms and conditions she's in the wrong but aww, poor unwanted cat and lady.bobo the clown wrote:Because that was a term & condition of the contract maybe ??Gooner Girl wrote:What a meanie you are!
