Do the United Reformed Church do a Benediction TD? I thought it was just us.

All denominations have some kind of Good Friday service and I don't suppose its so easy for Bish to skive off his. Slight chance it might be early morning I suppose and he can still make it, but unlikely.

The Catholics have (or had) a specific service starting at 3.00 pm (the alleged time that Christ is supposed to have died) starting with the Stations of the Cross (again, not sure if you have those) and going on to a full Benediction.

I had always understood that he was crucifies at 3.00 pm but died at least three hours (maybe six hours) later. Of course I'm not a Roman Catholic and my memory ain't what it was. I suppose a lot depends on how we interpreted the sixth hour, ninth hour, etc.

Not that it matters, as 3-0'clock is just the time we accept as being the time of Christs' death, in Church services, but Jerusalem is two hours ahead of us anyway so it will be 5-0'clock there when it's 3 here.
