Has anyone written to them yet and told them they can play Sordell up front, if they want?

Antigallican was a decent enough place when we went for the last away game. Got talking to friendly Charlton and Spurs fans.

It's close now, any chance of getting the thread title sorted out?

I could fax something across!

I'm predicting wholesale changes, a dire performance, three points and as much dissatisfaction as one can wave the proverbial stick at.

And if anyone can do better with the thread title, I'm open to suggestions.

Certainly not my finest hour, Harry, but I took the 'other' thread to be a satire of an actual match thread!

Take your pick. :D
And with it being Easter, there must be a few puns along the lines of "another eggsellent win" "who's eggsited" etc etc. Not to mention a hatful of "Dougie" and "resurrection" gags waiting to be made!

Oh crap. That will stuff the Bish up and he has already bought his train tickets :(
I should imagine 3-0'clock in the afternoon of Good Friday would be a no-no for him anyway? Somewhat insesnsitive organising.

Do the United Reformed Church do a Benediction TD? I thought it was just us.
All denominations have some kind of Good Friday service and I don't suppose its so easy for Bish to skive off his. Slight chance it might be early morning I suppose and he can still make it, but unlikely.

The Catholics have (or had) a specific service starting at 3.00 pm (the alleged time that Christ is supposed to have died) starting with the Stations of the Cross (again, not sure if you have those) and going on to a full Benediction.
I had always understood that he was crucifies at 3.00 pm but died at least three hours (maybe six hours) later. Of course I'm not a Roman Catholic and my memory ain't what it was. I suppose a lot depends on how we interpreted the sixth hour, ninth hour, etc.

Not that it matters, as 3-0'clock is just the time we accept as being the time of Christs' death, in Church services, but Jerusalem is two hours ahead of us anyway so it will be 5-0'clock there when it's 3 here.

I'm confused now. Will we be kicking off at 3:07pm or 5:07pm? :?
