Pointless Poll Time... 2014-15 season
Despite the Freedman Out camp, he's here for a bit longer. So, given that, and his therefore continual input into shaping a 'younger' team all 'looking in the right direction', where do you reckon we'll be a year from now?

I have voted mid table obscurity, very similar to this season, we will flirt with relegation rally and end up mid table!

I'm with you, but slightly more pessimistic in the finishing position, i.e. I reckon if I had a sweepstake choice it'd be 15th.Norpig wrote:I have voted mid table obscurity, very similar to this season, we will flirt with relegation rally and end up mid table!

Automatic promotion.
Nothing else computes now we have Elephants and Lancashire Roses back on our shirts.

Relegated.
To be honest, I'd welcome it. It'd be more interesting, new grounds to visit and at least we'd win a few.
Not that I'd be going myself, mind. Can't be doing with that.
Can't even boo them anymore without the PC Brigade jumping down your throat telling you it's now illegal to boo the team - might upset their delicate little heads, or something.
Rubbish. McGovern out!

Re: Pointless Poll Time... 2014-15 season
It's supposed to be a guess. There are of course many parameters we haven't got yet. We don't even know all of the teams that will be in the division, yet. And of course we have little idea as to who the squad will actually be. But to state you won't know until August is a little bizarre. Does that mean that in August, you won't be 'predicting' where we might end up, but will be able to calculate where we will end up? - that's impressive, if that's the case.BWFC_Insane wrote:Can't tell till August.

You can probably guess in August based on knowing who will actually be playing for us, though I'm not too optimistic the squad will be settled or complete by then.Lost Leopard Spot wrote:It's supposed to be a guess. As it stands now, with the players we've got I'd not be too optimistic of being outside the bottom 6 but that would be somewhat academic.
As I said right now I'm not too optimistic. I hope the summer might change that. Though I'm not too optimistic it will.
Anyhow I've had a guess for you. I'm not too optimistic it will be right though.

Re: Pointless Poll Time... 2014-15 season
So you're pessimistic about the chances of optimism flowering over the summer and therefore your pessimism about the players we have leads you to conclude we'll be (at your optimistic best) in the Skin of the Teeth ranks - I can understand that vibe: and it's a good job you stopped prevaricating and actually voted, otherwise I'd have had to send the boys roundBWFC_Insane wrote:You can probably guess in August based on knowing who will actually be playing for us, though I'm not too optimistic the squad will be settled or complete by then.Lost Leopard Spot wrote:It's supposed to be a guess. Re: Pointless Poll Time... 2014-15 season
Halfway up the Championship, no money, no Reebok, players on auction and a man of mystery for a manager. Yep, automatic promotion for me...
Well, at least we got our elephant back so chins up and at em lads.....

Re: Pointless Poll Time... 2014-15 season
No confidence in the manager, or the kind of players he'll be after - flair free work horses or workshy fops with no ability
We'll have a better start than last year which will keep him in a job, then it'll be 2 steps forward and 3 back until we finish 15th. May 2015 we'll still be arguing who was better between Coyle and Dougie

There's a bloody surpriseBWFC_Insane wrote:Can't tell till August.

It'll be reet. WBA will come in offering Dawson and £1m for Ream. We'll use the £1m to get Juke and get Mason on loan for the season. Holden will come back fit and the player he was, and Mark Davies will turn out to have genuinely been injured with mild blood poisoning caused by getting a tattoo of Dougie's face on his own face, such is his love for the manager. We'll piss it.
46 games to go. 138 points on offer. I don't see the problem

Re: Pointless Poll Time... 2014-15 season
suspect similar position finish, but with the consistency/ inconsistency spread more evenly across the season if that makes sense at all
ST sales & average attendance down by a couple of thousand
fa cup out at 4th round. t'other one has early elimination by Bury
Leicester approach us to be their PL B team set up
all the journos still keep referring to our match as at the reebok stadium

Good to see our regular Doom mongers voting. Two in for relegation already...

Well, Mr Freedman is a believer in contracts not being renewed if someone is failing the club ... and his ends in 12 month's time.
Won't THAT be interesting !!!

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.
