Re: Today I'm happy about......
Well my life took a turn for the better when I got rid of the last one and she was an occasional visitor to the Reebok.
Then again I need to start being positive again as I'm 40 next year and as Tango says....

Re: Today I'm happy about......
There was an awards night at our works last night. Not my cup of tea, so I stayed well clear. Iwas saying to a colleague this morning how divisive these things can be, whatever the best intentions, when I found out I'd won summat!
A lass I'd trained up some time ago had written a lovely piece on how much I'd helped her. I was quite touched

And I wish! She'd have been out of my league when I was her age, never mind now!

Re: Today I'm happy about......
Hey up, TANGO! It were 'walking out' in my day. That was followed by 'making love'. The bloke involved in all that was a 'suitor'. Later that seems to have become 'wooing' and 'courting'. These days it seems that one 'cracks on' to a Sheila 'scores' and moves on. What's the world coming to, sir? It's enough to make a grown man cry (over what he's missed out on) I tell you.

I'm still trying to get over the fact that you only ever kissed one woman, Dujon. You got hobbled early on in the walking out game! Still, it worked for you.Dujon wrote:Hey up, TANGO! Couple of trial dates, courting then "Hast introduced her to Fagin" from nosey workmates. Engaged, married...end.Dujon wrote:Hey up, TANGO! It were 'walking out' in my day. Like don't moan about the fact your earning about minimum wage(not sure if it's just above, below or right on the spot), working 40 hours a week because at least you have a job note some major changes were made to my contract today, mainly because I was daft enough to point out that they had made some mistakes, meaning I did myself out of the equivalent of 6k.bobo the clown wrote:Oh do give it a rest lad.bwfcdan94 wrote:Or never, my life experiences as so far have taught me that generally your life will take a downward turn when you get involved with somebody to such an extent.

At least you have a minimum wage. Back when we were young we didn't even get 6k, let alone be diddled out of it.bwfcdan94 wrote:Like don't moan about the fact your earning about minimum wage(not sure if it's just above, below or right on the spot), working 40 hours a week because at least you have a job note some major changes were made to my contract today, mainly because I was daft enough to point out that they had made some mistakes, meaning I did myself out of the equivalent of 6k.bobo the clown wrote:Oh do give it a rest lad.bwfcdan94 wrote:Or never, my life experiences as so far have taught me that generally your life will take a downward turn when you get involved with somebody to such an extent.

Are you counting inflation in your figure as 6k then would be worth a fortuneAbdoulaye's Twin wrote:At least you have a minimum wage. Possibly a test of your honesty Dan? You've got a job almost right off, when thousands can't. You're young, single and with the world in front of you. I'm right with Bobo, see things positively.bwfcdan94 wrote:Like don't moan about the fact your earning about minimum wage(not sure if it's just above, below or right on the spot), working 40 hours a week because at least you have a job note some major changes were made to my contract today, mainly because I was daft enough to point out that they had made some mistakes, meaning I did myself out of the equivalent of 6k.bobo the clown wrote:Oh do give it a rest lad.bwfcdan94 wrote:Or never, my life experiences as so far have taught me that generally your life will take a downward turn when you get involved with somebody to such an extent.

I think that he is fairly happy and content with his life, beyond the fact that at his age (and mine) the body doesn't work quite so well, the memory is questionable, etc. etc.bwfcdan94 wrote:Is Dujon a particularly happy person.Montreal Wanderer wrote:I'm still trying to get over the fact that you only ever kissed one woman, Dujon.
