This bit was the most interesting. I wonder if he would have played more if true.
Shoot wrote:Hall also suffered a few niggling injuries, followed by a clause in his contract that meant if he played 20 League games, Bolton would owe money to the Premier League club, a clause which has since passed.

That fact that he's shite was possibly factored into it too. We should've had a clause put in - if he's bobbins then 'the Premier League club' owe us some money back.

I gave up when I read what the knob who wrote it said here;

Does anyone know this blogger ??? My, there were some cliché's in that article.

I understood that we were ordered to pay a fee AND a sum for each time he played up to a total of £250,000. Not a lump sum once past a threshold.

Either way, & I do wish him to succeed, we've seen precious little to convince us he's our break through player for next season.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.
"I understand you are a very good footballer" ... "I try".

It's not a bad piece, if slightly overwritten (the eighth paragraph's a shocker). Good luck to the youngster, hope he learns well at Preston.

As for Hall, I note he played 22 league games - precisely half and half starts and subs.

He might be subject of rumours of a move to Brum but tonight he's starting for the U21s.

Kellett also starts.

Speaking of Kellett.. I didn't see the game last night, but I believe he was absolutely head and shoulders above everybody else on the pitch

Played very well, scored 2, his first game as he missed preseason due to injury. Came off after about 75mins, not injured just shattered I expect. Rob Hall drifted in and out, should have had a couple of goals when 1 on 1. A number of scouts there as always most probably looking at Sammy Ameobi.
