Should we hunger for more games or be mocking Jay?

I think we've looked much better without Spearing.

I thought he was having a bad run, but I don't know if he has something to offer or might just be a bit crap.
What a hero, What a man...... Ooooh, what a bad foul...

I think it will depend on who we come up against. Spearing can do the bully work better than say Mavies IMO.

We'll definitely need a stiffer 2 in that 4-2-3-1 against some opponents. Maybe away, too. I'll be happy if NL is picking horses for courses, especially as the high-tempo stuff tires the players out. (Mind you, there hasn't been a game yet under Lennon where we've played well for 90 minutes.)

I think Spearing is suffering from a dip in form but I've no doubt he'll be back. After he replaced Mavies on Tuesday, his 1st couple of passes were pretty wayward (as had been Mavies's) but he soon settled down.

Away from home or defending a lead, he's still our best bet I reckon. I just don't expect him to be taking corners again any time soon!

Had a few stern words with Lennon at HT at Carrow Road apprently and was immediately subbed as a result

Oooooooh.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Spearing is a good player who still has a lot to offer the team.

They were all pretty poor at Norwich which Lennon commented on afterwards.

His dead balls (oooer Mrs) have been poor for a good while. At least half his corners don't go over the first man. I noted Vela (my man) was taking them in the past two games and much better too.

Im sure Clayton was taking em against Wigan??

We had 4 corners against Norwich...in 90 minutes

Our goals from free kicks and corners has been one of our better stats, this season

On average, teams score 1 from every 30 odd corners

Interesting. Bit more digging, with http://www.whoscored.com/Regions/252/To ... -2014-2015" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; reveals more:

We've scored 7 goals from set pieces: only five teams have scored more. Watford are top with 10, while Fulham, Blackburn, Brighton and Ipswich have 8 each. Leeds/Brentford/Blackpool/Charlton bottom with 2 each.

Other facts: only Brighton have had a lower percentage of their shots from the right-hand side of the goal (we've had 12%). Only Leeds have fewer shots per game inside the six-yard box (0! - we average 1.1). Consequently, only Ipswich have had a higher percentage of shots from inside the 18-yard box but outside the six-yard box (we've had 56%). Oh and while only Millwall and Blackpool have committed more fouls than our 13.6 per game, only Charlton have been fouled fewer times per game than our 9.1. Make of all that what you will.

"Blackpool have committed more fouls than our 13.6 per game, only Charlton have been fouled fewer times per game than our 9.1. Make of all that what you will". .... & as we play Blackpool this weekend we can expect an unmitigated clogging then ??

SKD's absence has seriously undermined our fouls-per-game cred!
