I see Rob Hall scored a hat-trick for MK Dons today. Worth another chance?

Could be like signing a new player. 8)

Turning into a half decent beer thread this, despite talk of Coors and Pride. We'll have Dan talking John Smiths soon!

Mods. I think this thread belongs in General Banter :fishing:

Narrr beer chat > football
Maybe we should sign ricardo fuller(s) or cameron(s) jerome to keep with the theme?

Beeb thinks Darren Prately is playing for MK Dons these days rather than Rob Hall judging by this picture, you'd think the Bolton shirt was a bit of a hint:

Probably as confused as we are that Hall could actually score a hattrick.

Unsurprisingly we want ALF back for next season, in the BN today.

Apparently he wants to stay in the north west due to family reasons. The soon to be relegated Burnley are also interested. Blackburn can probably be ruled out due to the transfer embargo they are under.

Has Junsterbumf been playing for Burnley lately? If they want ALF then I'd be happy to see him back at our place.

He's been coming off the bench for them, Barnes got sent off recently as well.

I have no idea if Lennon would take him as juke was here pre Lennon. If a loan was an option I could see forest being a likely destination.

I suppose it depends where exactly his family is - he's Stockport by birth, playing for them then Rochdale and Rotherham before his job took him south - but I'd speculate they're nearer Bolton than Burnley, and as we have seen repromotion is far from assured. Bear in mind his happy loan spell here and for him to join them rather than us would take a serious financial differential - just as there seemed to be when Juke, bless him, delayed his move to the Premier to give us time to scrabble down the back of the sofa.

We've been blessed with a couple of good loan strikers recently, for which we should be grateful, but it'd be nice to have our own lad banging 'em in next term.

I see that Marvellous has failed to rustle the onion bag even once after 17 starts for them. Just so long as we don't end up with that useless tosser back at our place.

I thought we'd sold him, too.

I think Bruce just wants reassuring, if we're being linked with strikers from Burnley, particularly ones who used to play for us, that we don't get that one!

Think so, £500k, rising to £15m based on the number of goals he scores. So £500k it is, then.
