Oh dear that's bad news. I hope he didn't sign a new contract before he did. Is it a career threatening injury then?

It's fine, he was only playing chess.

Looking less likely that Bogdan is staying, would have heard something by now.
Possibly signed some centre half on a free from Rotherham.
We have been scouting in Spain and Norway. No idea if anything has come of it!

Would be a very good signing. A box to box midfielder with an imposing presence and thunderous kick. Better than what we have currently.

An imposing presence is what we need. We should have been playing Coke in pratleys absence. Never seen this austin bloke.irie Cee Bee wrote:Would be a very good signing. A box to box midfielder with an imposing presence and thunderous kick. Better than what we have currently.

At least the headlines will write themselves.

Good to see he's not just trying to sign a load of ex-Celtic players then...
Austin would be a cracking signing. Absolute monster, and a bit of a nasty streak we've been missing. Would be nice to pick one of Dirty Leeds' best players. Is he out of contract or something?

Word is Bogdan has been offered £18,000 p/w. Nothing further yet except N.L wants Baptiste back for training?

Lennon probably sees a bit of himself in Austin. Gritty player. Cheaper wages than Spearing...?
It'd be unfair for Lennon not to take a look at Baptiste given the season he's had for B'burn. However, with Derby, who can afford to loan Tom Ince and Darren Bent and various others, calling his wage demands 'eye watering' when he was looking for work after blackpool, we might need to ship him on again and look for a cheaper option. Tough balancing act.

Giles Coke has been released by The Wednesday Cricket Club (as they were called when Tango first shuffled his shoes )
Re: If carlsberg did transfer threads.....This would be it!
They've also released Joe Mattock, who we were linked with under Megson...Dave Sutton's barnet wrote:Giles Coke has been released by The Wednesday Cricket Club (as they were called when Tango first shuffled his shoes )
