Re: 2015 Ashes
What the hell was Moheen doing playing at one up there? Need to pick a side who don't get intimidated by the Johnson's etc. Last week we were all over them, this week behaving like frightened amateurs. Get a few Stokes in there.
Edit, been out with the dog, just seen Stokes 0. Lost for words.

Yarr. Was just going to suggest, they could get a couple of hours in, tonight. Batters shouldn't be too tired.Prufrock wrote:Why wait til the morning?

Strewth! I thought Australia's efforts at Cardiff were poor; how can I describe England's at Lords? Without using all sorts of expletives and derogatory remarks I don't think it's possible.

Makes "wimminz football" seem competent.
Which it isn't BTW. In case you were confused.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

You don't often get clear cut advantages at this level. We just got one, make it count. This is a real chance to go a test in front. Brilliant from Anderson.

Incredible stuff! Are we sure England is not batting?

This on the BBC Live Text made me laugh:
Jim Price: If England can perform as we usually do and get to 50-3 when we bat, we'll be in a great position...
