Onward & upward.

The alternative doesn't sit well.

Will Silva be gold dust or get the boot?

I'm still in the happy glow of having been on holiday. I'm sure I'll be back to weary and grumpy pretty soon though

Nah, balls to that, bring it on. No point hanging about in this rut.

Forest's season so far:
Lose to nil at Brighton (who just stayed up last season)
Lose at home to lower-league Walsall (4-3!)
Go behind at home to Rotherham (everyone's tip for the drop) before rallying to win 2-1
Held 0-0 at home by Charlton - one shot on target

Actually, looking at that Charlton game, they had 20 attempts without bothering the scorers - and only one on target (Charlton had 10, two on target). They're practically our blood brothers.

They also had 20 shots against Rotherham - who themselves racked up 15; against Walsall they had 15 to the lower-league visitors' 13; at Brighton they had 17 to the hosts' 18. So it should be a pretty open game...

I'm hoping that the very sight of the Macaroon will have Freedman breaking into a sweat and hiding under the back seat of the coach having a case of the heeby-jeebies.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Antonio is being a rebel and will hopefully not play (left out of the Forest squad Tuesday). He wants out of the club with bids coming in.

With Assombalonga injured long term, he has been their main attacking threat.

IF we can find the onion bag.. I am confident of a win. We look much better at the back so far this season IMO and if we can start scoring, we will start winning games.

3-1 please.

Hmmm. If we can't beat a Forest side at home given Forest are in a bit of disarray right now and have similar transfer restrictions to ourselves, who are we going to beat?

Losing to MK Dons and Forest would to me scream bottom of the league and I'm sure we are better than that.

I'm optimistic.

It may be a complex equation but I'm sure the gods are with us on this one.

Being a Dougie side they're going to be terrific without the ball and that concerns me. So long as we're terrific with it though - 2-1 win. Feeney & Danns

They'll run perfectly too.

I would bloody love to see Vela get on the score sheet. I'd pay the kid to run up toward Freedman and give him a sign of his affection.

Looks like it's going to piss it down, so we can probably forget all about a decent game of football and just hope someone manages to bundle the ball over the line.
