If carlsberg did transfer threads.....This would be it!

I've lost track - as well as incoming - are there also those who lenny has given new contracts to?

what would be the full Lenny-list including new incoming players that are "ours", loans and people he has given new contracts to?

Lussey and Cabrerio who I know nothing really about. "One's for the future" I guess.

Have I missed any ?

Added to returning injured from last year, which are always "like having a new signing" ; Pratley, Clough, Clayton eventually. We'll quickly brush over Wheater I think.

Just such a shame we missed out on Alf.

Maybe still a couple to drift in in the next few weeks.

Not too shabby Plymouth, overall, given our hands are tied behind our backs.
how could you forget Emile ?

I agree. Not too bad bud. Got a feeling Wellington is gonna a be decent! Apparently ripped Athletico Madrid apart last season.

Possible but given how strapped we are for cash and therefore probably haven't offered him much, he can't have had loads of clubs after him to have signed for us after such a drawn out process. We were linked to him weeks ago, and were rumoured to have agreed something at least a week or two back so we've either offered him more than I think so he's held out for a reason (Ream leaving), or not many clubs were after him in the first place IMO.
Lennon said there was other interest abroad but he wanted to come to England. I guess I meant that say we agreed a deal with him weeks ago, we know we couldn't sign anyone until we freed up a wage. I imagine there was no guarantee of that happening and it obviously also might have depended who left. Should someone have bid big money for Clough say, a full back might not have been top priority.

So perhaps bringing him over for training without any guarantees at that time was not the right thing to do. Perhaps he didn't want to unless he was guaranteed a deal.

Has Nixon said anything on this one ?
Sceptical - If we can't close out Wilson, unlikely to get Pisano
If we sign him then I'm ordering a shirt with Piss-can-o ont' back. :)
Shirt on order Bruce ?

Prince is a loan too, Bobo, albeit that we have the option to buy next summer.

I did this list a week ago, but I haven't got time to update it.

"don't mess with the professionals" thy said ... & did I take notice ?

Yep. I know it is a loan but I took that we had an option, whereas with the Duke (of Wellington) we don't.

A Prince and a Duke in one session, plus Ivanhoe and a prophet (Amos) ... there's a theme here I'm sure.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

That's your choice of course, but each to their own. I can't stand cheats, no matter who they play for.

That video is all I've seen of the bloke, so clearly I can't be too judgemental at this stage. It's clear he's got ability and speed, which are great foundations to build on, however, if those are his 'highlights', I can't help feeling he'll cause us some considerable frustration. I hope I'm wrong.

If we took all the negativity out of this thread it would only run to three pages. FFS, can't we just get behind the team and our players ??

Yeah, it's not a dig at you Bish; it just seems almost every player we have or we're linked with is sh it. Every other team seem to have better players, better chairmen, richer owners, Lennon can't manage etc etc. It just gets a bit wearing after a while. And I know you would agree with what I'm about to say more than most, and that is we are Bolton Wanderers, not Real Madrid. We punched above our weight for years, but now, about mid table in the championship is about as good as it's going to get. We have to get used to it and stop winging and voice some support. ( from someone who enjoys a moan more than most  )

^ aye, well - there's a fair few members of the forum who live close enough (unlike thee and me) to go to the home games - and they go to just about every one - and get behind the team - that's where it really counts...

I imagine young wellington will get a huge reception today and will be given every encouragement from fans desperate to see summat to cheer for a change...

Forums? schmorums!! the players are not reading TW - or if they are - then they are Marvin Sordell and I claim my £5! :D
