Just received information as a Lifeline member I've been invited to attend the usual Lifeline pary at the Macron in January where , and I quote, " For our main event we welcome THE DEADBEATS... to the Macron Stadium."
They couldn't have booked a more aptly named group !!
Any suggestions for other groups we could have had??

If they stay up. Mind, a lot of the relegation-threatened L1 teams are northern: Barnsley, Crewe, Blackpool and Oldham are currently in the zone. It'd be nice if that lot stayed up, get rid of shite like Shrewsbury, Swindon and Colchester (inc M. Sordell and O. Garvan). Add in Rochdale, Bury, Wigan, Scunny, Donny, Port Vale, Bradford and Sheffield United, drag Huddersfield and Rotherham down with us, and it'd be like the old Phil Neal days. That's put this season's tin hat on it for me. I live approximately 3 miles from the ground. I could've got my missus to drop me off, got a bit squiffy, eaten a lovely portion of chips, watched the game and staggered home.
It's just not fair.
