Noo Years Resolutions

Post by Bijou Bob » Thu Dec 31, 2015 10:30 pm

Does anyone do these anymore? Not Mrs Bob is doing dry January, but as this wouldn't be much of a struggle for me, she suggested I give up chocolate. After ten minutes sobbing and throwing a paddy (is that racist??) I agreed to it.

Oh, and i need to get fitter. I aways said I didn't mind being bald, but I'd never be bald and fat. It isn't a good look and one in the family is enough as it is.......Harry.

Not thought about any except the ones I intend every year (and rarely manage). Happy New Year to you all anyway. May it be a good one for everybody and may the SuperWhites rise and prosper again.

I'm going to try not to drink until I complete my Ironman challenge. Bolton Wanderers will test me to the limit, I'm sure.

one I make most years - but actually made some progress with last year..

to cut out some more of the "noise" in my life and introduce more quiet/silence - spend more time in meditation/contemplation (or in more secular but not entirely synonymous terms - put in the time and effort to become more self-aware and practice "mindfulness").

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Day one done. No alcohol. The bottle of JD was giving me the glad eye all night but I resisted. The slut.
