Physio for me on Sunday. I've been practising my fake limp all week.
I'll join you all on the 16th for brekkers. As long as it doesn't rain.

Anyone turning up at PR tomorrow? I will be in attendance, purely in an 'encouragement' and breakfast eating capacity only!

Let's just hope that someone else turns up then. Can't rely on anyone these days! I would have thought that someone of your 'stature' would manage both. Lightweight!Bruce Rioja wrote:I will, and boy is it going to hurt. Not doing brekkie though, BP, as I'm out for lunch.Burnden Paddock wrote:Anyone turning up at PR tomorrow? Ha. I'd be sat at Northcote saying "I must apologise but I can't quite manage the Line Caught Roast Cod, Fennel & Squid, Sweet Jester Tomatoes with Crab Bisque as I've just pigged-out on sausages".Burnden Paddock wrote:Let's just hope that someone else turns up then. Just watched some sort of a park run mixed relay race in the mud (while awaiting news on the cup game) Looked like very hard work and Scotland absolutely paralized the rest.

It'll be part of the buildup to the international races. No Scots will be beating Mo in that.TANGODANCER wrote:Just watched some sort of a park run mixed relay race in the mud (while awaiting news on the cup game) Looked like very hard work and Scotland absolutely paralized the rest.

Well, I carried on watching for a bit and that Avery girl was brilliant in winning her race. I was knackered just watching it in the box.LeverEnd wrote:It'll be part of the buildup to the international races. Tom led for a bit early on and is still fairly prominent. Not sure what shape he's in.

After 287 pages of this athletics/running thread, I've finally got the hang of it.
I would be joining you all on the park run, but I've twisted my ankle.
There. I feel fitter already. Can I go for a pint now?
