it is, I'll try and copy/paste.LeverEnd wrote:Facebook won't let me see that AG. Is it good news?Annoyed Grunt wrote:https://www.facebook.com/laura.branthwa ... 4192933254
Not done a Freddie update for a while,he's doing really well. Blood counts are normal and his white blood count is slowly rising whilst his immune system rebuilds. His NG tube has come out to see if he can cope without it but I'm sure he will be fine. Hickman line has to stay in for a while yet in case he gets any viruses or infections. One of the side effects of the medicine he's on is excess growth of body hair and poor Freddie looks like a little bear all over his back. Everything looks positive and I'm shortly going to be writing to his donor in Germany to thank him for his priceless gift xx

Hesitated to ask, but delighted to hear the news. All positives...

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

He's doing well, better than expected. Makes you realize how lucky you are when other kids who had their transplants around the same time have passed away or are still in intensive care.
The training for Ride London is going ok. I'm doing a blog about it http://www.ukcyclechat.co.uk/a-first-ri ... ocal-club/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Good stuff AG. Is that your club that meets at the bus stop opposite the Ainsworth Arms on a Saturday morning?
