Allow me to be as pessimistic as possible. As someone once said somewhere, domed.Worthy4England wrote:Key word there might need to be "cloud"...

I'm stopping following for a bit to have tea. A bit like keep looking out to see if it's stopped raining yet. It hasn't. Hello Mudda, hello Fadda...

Looks like I simply got my timings wrong. That's pretty much where we were with two hours left to play.Bruce Rioja wrote:I now reckon that they'll declare on 600+ sometime after tea. Been re-watching the 2005 highlights (first one here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fYlmM3pjltc" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;)
Fantastic stuff. Also contrast the class of Warne, Lee and McGrath with that gobby c*nt Johnson.

Re: 2015 Ashes
To score 142-4 (current) and still trail by 424 is a totally freak situation. If they can do it, we can do it. Come on lads, get at those upside-downers.

Re: 2015 Ashes
All out and 254 behind. Normally, 312 isn't that bad an innings. Right now it seems like nothing. We really do need something good to happen.

Re: 2015 Ashes
From the minute they scored such a big total, it was always going to be about how we bat. We're clearly going to be chasing an unlikely total, so I really wouldn't expect to see any reverse sweeps etc...
