We're not fcukin plastic c*nts like Bolton, Charlton, etc trying to get on Sky. Those blokes who cried at the 1st play-off final were a fcukin embarrassment to the claret and blue IMO
What's it got to do with us? Last time we got relegated it wasn't even fashionable to be seen blubbing in your seat, was it?

There's also a post on there about them being relegated with 40 points, wasn't it 42?

It certainly was and in any other year it would have kept them up. But we had 44.enfieldwhite wrote:I have to admit I cried the last time West Ham were relegated............with relief!Zulus! Yep, they beat our record of 40 points for relegation (walks off muttering about f*cking Everton, goal-line technology etc., etc., etc,)warthog wrote:It certainly was and in any other year it would have kept them up. "Laughing in the face of adversity" is the West Ham way? Gee, that's a new one. Remember the applause the Brum fans got at The Reebok last year for their brilliant attitude? Can you imagine the Hammers geting that? Remember the Leeds accolades for the Bolton fans reception for them when they went down. No, the Hammers will never be seen in that light. What they get they fully deserve. Take it on the chin boys. All part of being an arrogant big club who are too good to go down.

Not terribly bright are they? It must surely have been Spurs supporting Warren Mitchell's idea to make a racist bigot like Alf Garnett a West Ham fan.Little Green Man wrote:Here's some more salt-of-the-earth 'Ammers fans who'll be reaching for their 'ankies in May.![]()

Which I would interpret as a understated attack on Curbishley.West Ham defender Anton Ferdinand says the Hammers' players let down former manager Alan Pardew. (The Sun)
Which I would interpret that he's mad.Struggling West Ham striker Carlos Tevez says he might have to see a witch doctor - because he believes he is under a jinx. (Daily Star)
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

ALAN PARDEW was caught on film calling West Ham fans “w***ers” who “should all f*** off”.
His comment was intended as a joke during a filmed voice training session. Pardew was Hammers boss at the time of the recording.
The voice coaching session was organised to help Pardew avoid embarrassing slip-ups in public.
He was asked: “And how about your relationship with the fans? Do you think it’s good? Would you like to comment on that?”
Pardew jokes: “Well, personally I think they are all w***ers and should all f*** off. I’m the best manager in the world and I will win them over at some point.”
The pretend reporter comments: “Well . . . I’m glad to hear it.”

Now THAT would make me piss myself.Graeme Souness could be lined up to replace Alan Curbishley as the new manager of West Ham. (Daily Express)

I think at that point we'd have to end the thread. I mean, having a laugh at them is one thing, but that's just going way too far!bobo the clown wrote:It just gets better & better ....

May the bridges I burn light your way
hahaWest Ham winger Matthew Etherington has admitted he is undergoing treatment for a gambling addiction.
Etherington is being counselled at the Sporting Chance clinic in Hampshire.
He told the Daily Mail: "I have made a personal decision to take steps to tackle a gambling problem, which has developed in recent times."
The 25-year-old, who has had a disappointing season as West Ham are fighting against relegation, reportedly spent a week at the clinic in January.
He added: "I would like to thank my family for their incredible support during this time, all of my team-mates at West Ham and manager Alan Curbishley for their understanding.
"As anyone who has suffered an addiction illness will know, this is not a problem that will disappear overnight and the Sporting Chance clinic is playing a key role in my recovery."
Peter Kay, chief executive of Sporting Chance, said: "Matthew has been incredibly brave by confronting his problems. It is difficult for players to come forward in the modern climate.
"For any person to come forward and say they have been beaten by an addiction takes immense courage and strength of character.
"I salute Matthew for the work he has done. He has given the same commitment to beating this problem as he does to his football."
